School Birthday Party

Since Bernice and Javon’s birthday fall on the same month – Mama & Auntie Florence decide to do a joint birthday party for both of you in class.
It makes a more special and happier birthday celebration. Bernice knew about it from last night and is really looking forward to it.
When mama and papa bring the cupcakes to the class, you were so happy and excited.
There are so many friends in class … total of 26 children to celebrate your 3rd Birthday! How wonderful.
Bernice knew mama and papa have to leave after cake, you have already has tears because you don’t want us to leave!! Silly girl.
We are happy that you enjoy the birthday celebration in school with your little friends.

Homework

Bernice loves the new school very much...and always come home proudly with her learning on new chinese songs and poems and words.

Tonight she presents this new 'poem' 小鴨仔 and showing the movements along with the poem!

Happy Moon Festival

We have a causal dinner with 公公, 姨姨 & Theodore at home to celebrate the Moon Festival. 公公 brought us mooncakes and they are so delicious. Look at how happy Bernice is when she tastes it....on the other hand, Theodore doesn't enjoy much of the mooncake, and see who's the happy camper after all? BERNICE!!! She can finish Theodore's part!! =) Bernice school has a little celebration too, and handmade a paper lantern. Bernice also learn a new song for the Moon Festival from Ms Winnie at school. You just repeatly singing this song all day long!!

1st homework

Bernice brings home her 1st homework....as you are so eager to finish them by yourself and no hesitation to show us you enjoy the class work and all the chinese words and songs you have learn from school~ We are so proud of you Bernice.

My 1st day at Yips' School

1st day of school at Yips...this is my red uniform and school bag! How do you like them?

Bernice, you cry when mommy drops you off in the morning but you are so happy and enjoy when mommy and papa pick you up at end of the day!! It will be a good start for you in this new school.

Graduation

Bernice's last day of school and she receives the Certificate of Gradation and report card from the teachers!! Great Achievement Bernice!! We are very proud of you.

Pyjamas & Teddy bear Day

Today is PJ & Teddy bear Day at Bernice's school. Bernice picks the APPLE PJ as you wish. But since we have moved, we have packed all stuffed animals and toys so we didn't bring any teddy bear. Instead, we have brought Bernice's favourite 被被 (blanket)! Even better!

Potty Training

Bernice’s school has started potty training for awhile but mama and papa haven’t REALLY co-operated with school as yet. So we decided to do it this week and have Bernice sits at Potty every 30 minutes and sits for 5 minius or unless there’s an OUTCOME. Bernice is cooperating and showing satisfaction and willingness on potty training. Tonight, Bernice herself offers to take off her diaper and rushes to bathroom whenever there’s a need….successful done for the night.
Whenever she is done, she just said, “ I did it! I did it! ” Yeah!! So we have to do it as a routine and hopefully you do not need any more diaper by the end of this summer!!! Keep it up Bernice!!!!!

Spring Concert @ school

It's finally here!! After few months preparation for the concert, all of you children have taken great pride learning songs in class and have done a great job! Both papa and mama enjoy very much your wonderful performance. It's Bernice 1st performance in front of so many audiences! We are so pride of you.
As per school , " The Spring Concert is a culmination of a year's work on behalf of each child working on verbal annunciation, artistic development, organization of thoughts and ideas." wow!

Thank you Ms Senah

Bernice's favourite teacher Ms. Senah last day at school because she has to go back to finish her teacher courses so she will not return to school till September 2010. Bernice will study in a different school by then....so we are gonna miss you so much Ms. Senah! Bernice has handwritten a thank you card to Ms. Senah and nicely decorated with some stickers and letters!!! Hopefully we can see each other sometimes (because Ms. Senah's son) is studying the same school as Bernice!! Take care and so long , farewell Ms. Senah!!!

Happy Easter

These are the Easter eggs mommy has prepared for my school friends and Bernice has made a real Easter egg in school today too. Bernice's Easter egg is decorated with all stickers and nicely wrapped in a pink little tray.

School friends

Mommy has a chance to take some shots of Bernice and her little friends in school. They are all very cooperating and holding hands and standing still for photos. It's funny one friend come at a time to join photo...so we end up with different group of photos!!!

Show time

今晚囡囡心情好好, 載歌載舞...由飯廰跳到客廰...由客廰跳到飯廰!! 爸爸媽媽笑到飛起.. 囡囡自己都引唔住笑!! 媽媽估(99.999%相信) 咁有創意嘅舞步係学校学..因為呢星期係國際文化週, 唱咩歌詞只有囡囡知!!! 哈哈哈!!

School life

Bernice is going into her 3rd month of school life!!!!

It's Bernice's snack time when mommy arrives school. For the 1st time Bernice asks mommy to stay behind so she can finish the apple with her friends. So mommy waits and takes some photos of your art work. This week is Ocean week, so we see so many fishes, shells, Octopus everywhere! And also take photos of you and friends sitting together. All of you are being so good and munching apple quietly. Mommy is embrassed to tell you that I am still trying to remember your friends' names haa...

Vlad's mommy come over and tell mommy how sweet Bernice is because you always greet them when you see them in class. Always greet them politely with hello and goodbye. Mommy is so proud of you Bernice. Keep it up!! Two thumbs up!!

School photos

Mommy pickup Bernice from school today as papa and 叔叔 went to Car Show. Ms Soroya has posted new photos that were taken from class for the past month. So mommy took photos of them and created the following collage. =) It's fun to see what Bernice is doing at school and you are happy to see your friends in the photos too!!

Chinese New Year decoration

Ms. Soroya put so many Chinese new year decorations inside and outside the classroom. It's so nicely done that mommy and daddy have to take some nice photos of them. Papa and mommy have took a day off today so we can both drop you off school and pick you up from school. And then we head to Grandpa and have dinner together. We are really look forward to the Chinese New Year! Yeah!

Good Mood

媽媽早咗接囡囡放學,所以同囡囡係學校嘅mini-gym玩一陣, 玩平行朩同行樓梯, 不過難唔到囡囡. 哈哈! 因為囡囡都大個女囉!!! 不過見囡囡咁開心又擺晒pose, 媽媽幫囡囡用手机影相!!

到咗夜晚, 囡囡心情靚,一边玩边唱歌. 爸爸媽媽要估歌仔...因為唔知囡囡唱咩歌... 可能唱緊係學校學嘅新英文歌~哈哈!! 近期主打新歌係 "B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, AND BINGO IS MY NAME O~" 同埋 "hello, hello, How are you today?"... 爸爸 lalalum 拍 video!

飛躍大奨

囡囡係學校嘅表現有進歩. 又唔喊 , 老師讚囡囡好幫手! 囡囡肯幫其他小朋友着鞋, 派杯俾佢哋, 最犀利係囡囡記得邊隻杯係邊個小朋友!
囡囡仲話俾媽媽知小朋友嘅名添…爸爸媽媽感到非常安慰… !!我諗媽媽有時真係低估咗囡囡…嘻嘻!! 仲以為你仲適應緊學校生活和環境, 原來你已經一早搞奌咗!! Yeah叻女!!
希望囡囡朝早返學時唔好再喊啦!! 加油 !!!

Milestone

Bernice has reached another milestone today!! She didn’t cry when mommy drop her off this morning YEAH!! Bernice says “ByeBye Mama & See you later” and then sit together with other kids for morning snacks!!! =) It made my day!!!!!! Hope that Bernice will be good tomorrow.


Also reviews Bernice’s daily log from teacher. “Bernice adapted well in the environment and she enjoyed art work and really like fire engine car. “ Mommy smiles when reading this comments from the teacher! For the interest of Fire engine car, maybe because we pass by a fire station everyday (there’s a fire headquarter nearby our house) and maybe due to the effect of 無綫劇集”烈火雄心”we have watched few months ago..haa…it’s just funny to read these comments!!

1st week of school

Woohoo..today is Friday, mommy picks up Bernice at school and secretly takes some shoots of Bernice without her notice. She is reading at the corner and doesn’t join the circle with other kids….she looks at them sometimes but mainly just concentrating on her own doing. Bernice is so alert that she sees mommy at a door in few minutes!!!! Mommy brings along the daily log from teacher and let papa reads them. The progress is good and she is taking instruction and just sometimes do not join the circle time as a new comer. The daily log also tell the amount of food Bernice has haa..it’s funny she takes a 2nd round most of the time!! =) We also have the 1st art work Bernice did at school!
After school, we spent some fun time with dordor! hoorayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!
