More Snow, More Fun, More Cake

School is closed so Bernice is now officially in your christmas holiday. Today you have tea with 公公, Theodore and Papa. And we will have dinner at 公公 and celebrate his "unreal" birthday too! hahahaha...

Bernice you will probably be coming to work with Mommy tomorrow and Thursday....and you have been wanting it so badly...but you might get bored in the office!! We'll see..hohoho!

Gingerbread house

We are making some gingerbread house with some friends today. This time we get the little small houses instead of one big one. We also have gingerbread men too. You kids have eaten them all before decorating the gingerbread men. ohohoh!~ Mommy can't resist too, they are absolutely yummy!! Nice job kids!!!!

Birthday celebration with family & friends

We continue with more birthday celebrations for Bernice. Dorothy E E orders some cupcakes for Bernice. Mommy makes a little castle for Bernice and you just love it and keep telling mommy how pretty the castle is. Mommy is so happy and so touched by your kind words. Bernice you have become a sweeter girl everyday. You keep mommy companion all the time, stand by my side and I just love you more and more each day. I pray God continue to shower you blessings, sending you joy, love, peace and health while you growing up. I am sure you will be a very caring and sweet person all the way. I once again Thank God for you, my lovely angel.

Happy Birthday 婆婆! Welcome back to Toronto!!!! We all miss you so much! We wish you good health, good fortune, pretty everyday!!!!

Circus @ Harbourfront

Today is extremely sunny and there is heat alert according to the broadcast. Unexpectedly the weather is not that terrible as our thoughts. Maybe it is by the lake, the wind is quite comfy and relaxing. Thank you Rubie姨姨 & Derrick叔叔 to come along and be mama’s helper. We spend some time to watch the circus performing, walk around at the harbourfront, play at the playground & play in the water. We grab some lunch from Sobey’s and then more walking around the area.

It seems like a busy long weekend but overall we really enjoy it. Looking forward to the NEXT long weekend.

Kids Cooking

After mass at church this morning and we have dim sum with friends…it’s such a long wait because it’s a Victoria Day long weekend. After a short nap, we got to Emman home and ready to do some fun cooking with other little friends, Emman, Theodore, Owen & Natalia. Mama prepares some pita – as pizza crust and have sausages, pepperoni, cheese, tomato, pineapple as the ingredients. I ‘think’ you guys have some fun and enjoy the cooking by yourself. We also make some dessert….but mama think the texture is not too pleasant…so none of you really use the finger to stir or mix the dessert haahaa. So end up the parent did the mixture and you guys decide to play with the toys!! Mama at least feels good that all of you finished your own made pizza haahaa!!! Hope we can have more gatherings in the future!

Church Food Carnival

With God’s gracious blessing, the annually Bazaar was held successfully this year at CMC. St. Cecilia Choir has made a good profit – special thanks to papa’s yummy curry fish ball and squid. We made a great team today. We have a really nice weather and we all had a nice tan afterall. There’s fire truck at the church but Bernice was too scared to get close by or even get into it. Hope you are old enough next year and willing to get into the fire truck and see the inside..(mommy really wanna see but Bernice just pull mommy off and just says ‘fi d’ go go go) =)
姨姨& dor dor dropped by ½ hour and spent some quality time with Bernice.

Thank you Regina姨姨 babysit and play with Bernice most of the day today so mommy can enjoy a little ‘off’ time at church.

Riverdale Farm

We go to Riverdale farm this early morning, a ‘hidden farm’ in the middle of a busy city! We missed the cow milking but we can still ask questions about the cow and the calves. And then we watch sheep shearing and everyone of us get a hand bracelet that’s made from the wool…COOL!! And we also watch the performance of sheep herding with border collie dogs…and many other animals in the farm ie: Nubian goats, originated in Egypt. This goat has a long drooping ears and they are so friendly. They come along and let the children touch and pet them with a BIG smile~ !

Cherry Blossom @ High Park

Finally we can see the cherry blossom together this year!! Last year we have missed it. But today is so cold and rain. We have waited in the car for 20 minutes for the heavy rain to stop. it's great we can spent 30 minutes there.....with very little rain! Bernice & Theodore, both of you enjoy the wagon ride as much as seeing the cherry blossom. And us mommies also have a great time. And thank you papa for the good photo shots!!! =)

Braids

The 2 silly like to have braids ... not 1 but 2, 3....more and more!!! Isn't life is so lovely with this simple request. We adults have to learn from the children. "Enjoy the simplest thing in life." Your family, friends, job, sports, singing, dancing.....and just laugh like an innocent child and see things from a child's perspective..you will be surprised how beautiful life is!!! Let's focus on each other good and treasure the "present moment".

Easter Egg Hunt

Bernice’s 1st Easter Egg hunt at Puck’s Farm. We arrive there at 1030am and line up for an hour to get into the farm!! We didn’t expect so many people there. Bernice and the hunting buddies Emman, Jerome and Theodore made a great team on the Easter Egg Hunt! All of you have so much fun and excited seeing all kinds of animals. There was a little accident with the hay wagon ride. The connection between the 2 horses and the wagon was broken and we were going uphill. So all of us have jumped out of the wagon and walk back to the farm!! Thank God we are all safe!!

Stickers faces

Both Bernice and Theodore like stickers lately and you guys are creative enough to put them onto each other's face! It's great you both spend some good times together just to running around the house and keep each other company!

4 boys VS 1 girl

We have a play day at Kendrick’s lovely home and we haven’t seen each other for awhile!! All of you have grown so much. Bernice is lucky to have 4 boys playing with her today. We have Kendrick, Javon, Brayden, last but not least, Theodore!! All of you rock like a band, and all of you are using chopsticks to eat!! Isn’t time flies quick?!
Hopefully we can meet more often after we move out to Markham! Yeah!!

Play date

We have invited Theodore and 姨姨 come over to our home and play with Bernice. It’s been awhile since they have gone to Shanghai. When Bernice sees Theodore is wearing jeans, and requests mommy to change her into jeans! Both of you have a hard time taking nap as you imagined…cried ..cried..cried.. till both of you are too sleepy and fell asleep. We head out to Markham for dinner with 公公, 姨丈. Florence 姨姨 & Javon have joined as well...and they have also came back from their HK trip. It’s been awhile since last time we met!! What a pleasant dinner!

Welcome back Theodore

Welcome back dor dor!! We have finally met after 23 days of separation! We all missed you so much!! We have waited and waited and there.........you are!!!! The 2 of you are trying to help with luggage carrying....mommy can't really take good shots of you 2 moving around!!! Looking forward to travel together next time...probably will be a horrible experience for the passengers who are on the same flight!! haaahaaa

Before we go to airport, we wait at BV Mall and Bernice munching 鳳凰卷, and it's your 1st time eating it too...of course Bernice wouldn't share with anyone and just says "媽媽 喉龍痛, 唔好食..." to avoid sharing!! 激死人啦!!!

Sleepover

姨姨 & dordor will be travel to Shanghai next week, so we asked them to sleep over at our home and let the two of you play more. There are times when Bernice didn't let go of her toy and share with dor dor, there are times when both of you laughed out so loud on silly things...there are times when you copy each other doing....! 2 silly little bum bum (s).

Mommy wasn't feeling well, so dizzy and muscle pain, hope that i am not getting a flu!!

Shopping with Theodore

Friday night after work and school, We meet up with Theodore and 姨姨 for dinner and chitchat! Both Bernice and Theodore enjoy playing at Pottery Barn Kids and did not want to leave at all. And we did some photos and video shootings just for the 2 of you. Mommy loves to watch you 2 playing, always creative and always amusing! 姨姨 has more photos and videos..mommy just uses my cell to do these photos!

1st week of school

Woohoo..today is Friday, mommy picks up Bernice at school and secretly takes some shoots of Bernice without her notice. She is reading at the corner and doesn’t join the circle with other kids….she looks at them sometimes but mainly just concentrating on her own doing. Bernice is so alert that she sees mommy at a door in few minutes!!!! Mommy brings along the daily log from teacher and let papa reads them. The progress is good and she is taking instruction and just sometimes do not join the circle time as a new comer. The daily log also tell the amount of food Bernice has haa..it’s funny she takes a 2nd round most of the time!! =) We also have the 1st art work Bernice did at school!
After school, we spent some fun time with dordor! hoorayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!

Joy to the world

berber and dordor, you two such are "joy to the world" ... (in mommy's eyes).
I am so grateful and thankful that you have each other to grow together, to learn together and to play together!! I pray that both of you can be good buddies and be good to each other in the future years. It's a blessing to have someone to share so many precious moments together.
